Winter Market 2026 at the Muziekgebouw
Looking for handmade gifts, local products and a festive start to the holiday season? On Saturday 12 December 2026 the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven is dedicated entirely to the Winter Market, with more than 80 stalls. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
A market made by and for internationals
The Winter Market is organised by the Holland Expat Center South and TIEC, two organisations that support the large international community of the Eindhoven region. That gives the market a special character: you will find stalls run by people from all over the world who now live in Brabant, next to local makers and producers. It is a place to shop, but also to meet people, catch up with friends and feel part of the city's international community.
What you will find
With more than 80 stalls, there is plenty to discover:
- Handmade gifts: jewellery, ceramics, textiles, prints, candles and other crafts.
- Local products: from Brabant and the rest of the Netherlands.
- Seasonal treats: sweets, baked goods and snacks for the holidays, often with recipes from different countries.
It is the perfect place to find original presents for Sinterklaas, Christmas or the New Year, or something special to send to family abroad.

- Combine with the city centre. The Muziekgebouw is right in the shopping area of the centre, with the Christmas lights in the streets around it.
With children
The Winter Market is a relaxed outing with children, and many stalls sell treats and small gifts that children love. Being indoors, it is also easy with a pushchair. For more family ideas, see Eindhoven with kids.
For newcomers
If you have recently moved to Eindhoven, the Winter Market is one of the best events of the year to meet other internationals and discover the organisations that can help you settle in. The Holland Expat Center South is the place to go for practical questions about living and working in the Netherlands, from registration to finding your way around Dutch rules.
December in Eindhoven
December is all about the holidays in the Netherlands. On 5 December Dutch families celebrate Sinterklaas, and later in the month comes Christmas, with lights in the streets and concerts in the halls. See the calendar for December 2026 for more festive plans, all markets in Eindhoven and the free events in the city.
