PSV vs Club Brugge (Champions League)

A European evening against neighbours from across the border: on Wednesday 4 November 2026 PSV play Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League at the Philips Stadion. Kick-off is at 21:00.

Belgium against the Netherlands

Club Brugge is one of the most successful clubs in Belgium, from the historic city of Bruges in West Flanders. Matches between Dutch and Belgian clubs always have something extra: the countries are neighbours, share a language in Flanders, and have a long sporting rivalry. Bruges is only about two and a half hours' drive from Eindhoven, so expect a large group of travelling Belgian fans in blue and black.

PSV's European history

European nights are special at the Philips Stadion. PSV won the European Cup, the predecessor of the Champions League, in 1988, beating Benfica on penalties in the final in Stuttgart, in a season in which the club also won the Dutch league and cup. Since then, PSV has been a regular participant in European competitions.

This season PSV's Champions League home matches include Club Brugge (4 November 2026), Atlético Madrid (9 December 2026) and VfB Stuttgart (27 January 2027). UEFA sets the dates and kick-off times; PSV's match centre always has the latest information.

Tickets

Champions League tickets are in very high demand. Many seats go to season-ticket holders and Club Card members, and the remaining tickets usually sell out fast. Check the ticket information on psv.nl early and buy only through official channels. We don't list a price, because availability and prices depend on your membership.

No ticket? Plenty of cafés in the city centre show Champions League matches, and watching with a room full of PSV supporters is a great experience too.

Match-day tips

  • Arrive early. Security checks take longer at European matches.
  • Bring ID. You may be asked to show identification with your ticket.
  • Dress warmly. November evenings can be cold and wet.
  • Plan your way home. The match ends around 23:00. If you come from outside Eindhoven, check the last train on ns.nl.
  • Wear red and white.

A busy Wednesday

The same evening, Japanese rock band SPYAIR plays the Effenaar near the station. Expect busy streets and trains around Eindhoven Centraal before and after the match.

For newcomers

On the day of a Champions League match, the whole city seems to talk about nothing else. If you work in Eindhoven, join colleagues at the stadium or in a café: it is one of the best ways to feel part of the city.

Watching in a café

If you don't have a ticket, find a café in the city centre with a big screen and arrive early: on Champions League nights the best seats go quickly. Watching with fans in red and white, singing along with every attack, is a classic Eindhoven experience, and a good way to meet locals.

Getting there

The Philips Stadion is at Frederiklaan 10a, about a fifteen-minute walk from Eindhoven Centraal. On match days, walking or cycling is the quickest way to get there.
