DESCRIPTION:Few matches in Dutch football are as big as PSV against Feyenoord. On Sunday 25 October 2026 the two clubs meet at the Philips Stadion in the Eredivisie\, the Dutch top league. Kick-off is at 14:30. A classic of Dutch football Together with Ajax\, PSV and Feyenoord are the traditional "big three" of Dutch football. All three have won the European Cup or Champions League: Feyenoord in 1970\, PSV in 1988. Matches between them are some of the most anticipated of the season\, with full stadiums\, a lot of atmosphere and often consequences for the title race. For PSV fans\, a match against Feyenoord from Rotterdam is about more than three points. It is Brabant against the big city of the west\, Eindhoven against Rotterdam. Even if you are not (yet) a football fan\, a match like this is a great way to experience something that is deeply part of life in Eindhoven. PSV and the Philips Stadion PSV was founded in 1913 as the sports club of Philips employees\, and has played on the same site in the Strijp district ever since. The stadium holds about 35\,000 spectators. The club's greatest triumph was the European Cup of 1988\, won on penalties against Benfica. PSV fans proudly call themselves "boeren" (farmers)\, a nod to the club's Brabant roots. Tickets Tickets for big matches like this are hard to get. Many seats go to season-ticket holders and members with a PSV Club Card\, and the demand for matches against Feyenoord and Ajax is very high. Check the ticket information on psv.nl\, and only buy tickets through PSV's official channels: unofficial tickets may be refused at the gate. Many bars around the Markt and on Stratumseind show PSV matches on big screens. Match day tips Check the time. Kick-off times can change\, for example for television. PSV's match centre always shows the latest time. Arrive early. Entry to the stadium takes time\, especially at big matches. Plan to be at the gate well before kick-off. Leave the car at home. The streets around the stadium get busy and some are closed on match days. Walking or cycling from the centre is often fastest. Bring ID. At many matches you may be asked to show identification along with your ticket. Wear red and white. PSV's colours are red and white. Feyenoord fans wear red\, white and black. For newcomers If you have just moved to Eindhoven\, colleagues will almost certainly ask whether you have been to the Philips Stadion yet. Going to a match is one of the best ways to understand the city and its pride. Atmosphere at the stadium is loud but generally friendly\, and many families go to matches together. Getting there The Philips Stadion is at Frederiklaan 10a\, about a fifteen-minute walk from Eindhoven Centraal. There is bike parking around the stadium.
